Abstract

680,815. Surgical injectors. CASCELLOID, Ltd. Sept. 22, 1949, No. 24329/49. Class 81 (ii). [Also in Groups XVII and XXIX] A device to direct liquid or powder into the nostrils includes a flexible container 1 with a stopper 7 having a boss 14 and a feed tube 10. Passages 16, 17 lead to a mixing chamber 11 and a flared outlet 13. By compressing the container, which may be of rubber or thermoplastic, liquid or powder is forced up the tube and mixes in the chamber 11 with air passing through passages 16, 17 before being finally ejected. A closure cap 4 is provided.
