Abstract

636,452. Bedsteads. DULSON, A. W. Sept. 28, 1948, No. 25217. [Class 52 (ii)] A retaining guard or guards for bedsteads comprises one or two brackets having hook-like portions 12 for engaging the usual side members 13 and outwardly projecting arms 10 to which are secured the guard comprising upper and lower members 17, 14 and posts 15, 16. In a modification the guard or guards may be hinged to the arms 10 preferably arranged to resist outward pressure when in its erect position. To this end bolts 24 having flattened faces 25 are engageable in key-hole slots 22, 26 in the ends of the arms 10.
