563,971. Delivering liquids in drops. GLAXO LABORATORIES, Ltd., and HOWKINS, A. G. March 11, 1943, No. 3981. [Class 125 (iii)] A device for dispensing liquid in drops comprises a tube 1 and rod 5 with enlarged ends 6, 7, the end 7 being so dimensioned that liquid flows at a rate which results in delivery in the form of individual drops of size determined by the surface tension and specific gravity of the liquid. Various shapes for the parts 6, 7 are described and the passage between elements 5, 1 may be o: varying cross-section.
