[Class 86] In mixing apparatus for finely-divided substances, the beater-carrying arms e are carried at their inner ends by bosses f on the shaft b and secured therein by grub-screws g. The arms are curved in opposite directions to carry helically curved mixing blades; the construction being such that by rotating the parts to bring blades to be removed uppermost and slacking off the grub-screws, the blades with their arms can be removed in turn through the open top of the mixing chamber.
