535,011. Vitreous enamels. TRIGGS, W. W. (Titanium Alloy Manufacturing Co.). June 19, 1939, No. 17824. Drawings to Specification. [Class 56] [Also in Group III] Zirconium oxide produced, as described in Group III, may be mixed with a small amount of an alkali metal compound, and roasted at 800-950‹C. to form a crystalline zirconium oxide, pure white in colour, having particle sizes chiefly between 0.40 and 3 microns, such a product having good opaquing effects when used in enamels and glazes. Examples are given.
