Abstract
499,900. Type - printing telegraphy. UCHIDA, N., UCHIDA, T., and UCHIDA, N. Sept. 16, 1937, No. 25220. Convention date, Sept. 24, 1936. [Class 40 (iii)] A plurality of electromagnets M1 ... M6 are energized in selective combinations by keys Kl ... K5 each operating a single contact J ... J5 respectively. One pole of the operating battery V is connected to all the magnets and the other to all the contacts, and the other side of the contacts is connected to a selection of magnets over leads, each of which contains a unilateral conductor, preventing false operation through return circuits which would otherwise exist through the leads to the unoperated contacts. For example, contact J1 is connected to magnets M1, M4, M6 over leads P1, P2, P3 containing contact rectifiers p1, p2, p3 respectively. When a contact operates a single magnet, or vice versa, the appropriate rectifier, e.g. p1 and q1 may be omitted.
