436,071. Seat adjustments. HILL, G. T. R., and PETTERS, Ltd., Westland Works, Yeovil, Somerset. Sept. 5, 1933, No. 24625. [Class 52 (ii)] [See also Groups XXI and XXIX] In aircraft gun turrets, the gunner occupies a tiltable seat d having leg-straps 50, footrests e, knee-pads 53, and a back-rest 44, the latter being connected with a worm-sector 3 by linkage 45, 48, 49. The arrangement is such that, when the gunner's sight s is moved by power transmitted through the sector 3, the back-rest is moved to conform with the sight movements.
