Abstract

420,057. Pipe joints. OMNIA MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and CHAPMAN, F. W., 48, Grosvenor Gardens, Buckingham Palace Road, London. July 10, 1934, No. 20277. [Class 99 (i)] A pipe joint comprises a ferrule 1 of U- shaped section which fits on and into the end of one pipe and a connecting sleeve 4 which engages the inner or outer wall of the ferrule and the inner or outer wall of the other pipe. In a vertical enamelled flue joint the ferrule is a push fit on the lower pipe, and the sleeve has two parts 6, 5 which are a push fit in the ferrule and on the upper pipe respectively.
