Abstract
429,509. Toy building - blocks. HUILLARD, P. E., 25, Quai Voltaire, Paris. Dec. 8, 1933, No. 34637. Convention date, Dec. 9, 1932. [Class 132 (iii)] Toy building-blocks particularly for architectural structures and of cubic, rectangular, parallelopiped, prismatic, cylindrical, conical, spherical or pyramidal form or of any of these forms cut by a plane or planes are made by dissecting a cube or a volume inscribed in the cube or a multiple or sub-multiple of the cube along planes parallel with the faces of the cube, planes passing through the axes joining the centres of opposite faces of the cube, and planes inclined relatively to the faces of the cube so that the dimensions of the separate blocks are multiples of one another. Several of the different shaped building blocks may be combined to form a single building block. The blocks may be composed of separate parts of cardboard subsequently juxtaposed. Figs. 6, 14, 15 and 27 show the origin of some of the blocks, and Fig. 34 shows an example of the use of blocks formed according to the principle described.
