Abstract
427,725. Building - blocks. OGDEN, R., Holt, Farnham Common, Slough, Bucking- hamshire. Oct. 28, 1933, No. 25675. [Class 132 (iii)] Toy constructional parts comprise struts a of square or other symmetrical cross-section and provided with a groove b in each face into which fits firmly a panel c of rectangular, triangular or other shape without pins or clips. The ends of the struts are flat and are formed either at right angles to the struts or at an angle with opposite faces, opposite ends of the struts being dissimilar if desired. The strut lengths, panel lengths and panel widths are each arranged in co-related arithmetical progressions having the width of the strut face as common difference, the panels and struts being designed in pairs in each of which the panel length exceeds that of the strut by twice the depth of the groove. The depth of the groove may be a quarter of the width of the strut face or may be according to a given formula. The corner of some or all of the panels may be cut away at 45‹ as shown at d, Fig. 1, and at h, Fig. 2. Specification 19414/07, [Class 132], is referred to.
