[Classes 132 (iii) and 146 (ii)] A device in the form of a toy comprises a member having a maze, plan, chart, or other design depicted thereon and a second member in the form of a mask mounted on the first member so that it can be moved in any direction over the surface of the design and having one or more relatively small sight openings through which only a small part of the design can be viewed when the mask is in any one position on the design-carrying member. A design which may be in the form of a maze b is applied to a cylinder a which may be solid or hollow and provided with end caps, and a movable sleeve c is loosely mounted on the cylinder so as to be adjustable both longitudinally and circumferentially thereto. The member c is provided with a sight opening d which renders a small portion of the maze visible and this sight opening is moved over the paths of the maze from the " In " to the " Out " position. More than one sight opening may be provided and the cylinder may be formed of two or more relatively movable parts. The cylinder may carry a map or pictures, and the end caps, where provided, or other stops, may act to limit the endwise movement of the sleeve. Holes may be made in the cylinder at desired points in the design in which different shaped pieces may be inserted, when playing a game, and the designs may be detachably mounted on the cylinder, to co-operate with interchangeable sleeves having sight openings in different places.
