[Classes 61 (i) and 61 (iii).] A screwdriver or spanner for use in inaccessible places comprises a hollow stem 1 of bendable material such as an annealed copper tube within which is a flexible driving shaft 8 rotatable by a handle 3 secured to its lower end by a cross pin 4 and having a screwdriver &c. bit 7 soldered to its squared upper end 11, or the bit may be held interchangeably in a socket secured to the upper end of the driving shaft.
