Abstract

392,002. Spinning-toys. DEHN, F. B., 103, Kingsway, London.-(Duncan, Inc.,. D. F. ; 28, North Sheldon Street, Chicago, U.S.A.) June 21, 1932, No. 17542. [Class 132 (iii).] A spinning-toy of the kind comprising two circular discs 5, 6 connected by a short central stub 7 is provided with a cord positioned on the stub by a loop 9 loosely surrounding the stub in order to facilitate the rotation of the stub in the loop when the cord has been completely - unwound. The cord is formed of a single string folded intermediate its ends and twisted together as shown. The discs of the toy may be made of cup-shaped metal members 20, Fig. 5, closed by flat plates 21. A central hub secured by rivets connects the discs. Openings 25 may be provided in the cup-shaped members to produce a sound upon rotation of the toy. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 209,288, [Class 132 (iii), Toys].
