390,336. Condensers. INTERNATIONAL GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Inc., 120, Broadway, New York, U.S.A.- (Assignees of Allgemeine Elektricitõts-Ges. ; 2, Friedrich Karl-Ufer, Berlin.) May 7, 1932, No. 13232. Convention date, May 9, 1931. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (ii).] The dielectric of a condenser for high, voltages consists of glass fused with mica, asbestos, kaolin, talcum, baryta or like materials, and can be worked by hot-pressing and by cutting tools. Metal armatures may be applied to the surfaces by spraying or in the form of foil, and the layers may be united by hot-pressing the heat being derived for example by electric current or by subjecting to a high-frequency field. Groups of elements may be stuck together by suitable adhesives or may be clamped, the clamps serving as means for connecting the elements electrically. Specification 152,780, [Class 56, Glass], is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 152, 780.
