Abstract
A cement, especially for cementing the middle electrode of sparking-plugs, consists of 50 to 53 parts by weight of aluminium oxide, 10 parts of aluminium hydroxide, 15 parts of quartz powder and 5 to 2 parts of lead glass powder. The substances are ground until they have a size of grain about 0,015 m.m., and 100 grams of powder are then mixed with about 30 c.cs. of a 36-38 DEG Baum<\>ae solution of soda water glass. The cement is squirted into the space between electrode and insulating body, and dried at 150 DEG C. for 24 hours.
