379,975. Mine roof supports. SCHNEIDER, M., 64, Hafenstrasse, Ruhrort, Duisburg, Germany. Feb. 5, 1932, No. 3448. Convention date, March 14, 1931. [Class 20 (ii).] During excavation work in mines, the roof is supported adjacent to the working position by means of spring steel bars 1 which are driven into the working face 4 and supported at their projecting ends on supports 2. The bars 1 are of a shape to fit approximately the bore-holes and are formed of portions 5, 6 with curved faces 1 separated by a narrow web 7.
