Abstract

353,909. Electric cooking ovens. MAXIM SOC. ANON. FABRIQUE D'APPAREILS THERMO-ELECTRIQUES and HOFER, H., Buchserstrasse, both in Aarau, Switzerland. April 29, 1930, No. 13217. Convention date, April 30, 1929. [Classes 39 (iii) and 126.] The door and door-frame are secured to the removable cooking box 1 so that after the latter has been withdrawn the resistances 5, 6 arranged. between the box and the outer walls 3 may be removed. The front end of the box is formed with a flange 14 and an angle iron frame 8 is arranged at the back of the flange. A door frame formed of flat bars 9 is arranged on the other side of the flange. The parts 8, 14, 9 are welded, riveted, or screwed together. The door comprises metal plates 11, 12 separated by insulation 2 hinged to the door frame. A flange on the plate 12 covers the joint between the door and the frame. The cooking box is retained in position by screws passing through the door frame.
