350,111. Opening means for boxes &c. GASELTINE, H. T., Hambledon, Forty Lane, Wembley Park, Middlesex. April 1, 1930, No. 10305. [Classes 66 and 94 (i).] A cutter cord or wire for tearing open the paper, tin-foil, or other sealing strip 13 by which the lid 12 is secured to a box or like container 11 is provided with a circumferentially serrated friction surface, for example, by binding it with tinsel foil strip, rendering it unnecessary to anchor the inner end.
