Abstract

346,058. Monogrammic signs. FOSTER, J., Willow Beck, Mitton Road, Whalley, Lancashire. Jan. 21, 1930, Nos. 2048 and 11383. [Class 118 (ii).] An advertising and display device comprises a baseplate A having apertures B through which a selected number of pivoted hollow members C may be swung into the display position. This movement is effected by tapping smartly a lug G projecting through an aperture E. Nests of members C arranged one within the other are selectively actuated to give variety. Other apertures may be provided in the baseplate to permit the passage therethrough of larger members shaped for example as shown in Fig 17a, these members when exposed serving to cover a group of the smaller members. One or more movable flaps such as I are associated with the movable hollow members C in order to produce a variety of decorative combinations.
