Abstract
333,811. Metallges. Akt.-Ges., and Hubmann, O. Oct. 29,1929. Composition fuel.-In the manufacture of briquettes from coal, lignite &c., the material is divided into two classes namely, fine and coarse, and the coarse only is subjected to low temperature carbonization. The residue from this latter process is then mixed with the dust and the mixture briquetted. The residue may have its coarser pieces removed before or after incorporation with the dust and to prevent ignition of the residue this before or after mixing may be subjected to large volumes of air.
