Abstract

Pinless hinges; pivoting adjustments.-Mirrors and other pivotally-supported articles are suspended in an adjusted position by means of a small segment c or two screws b on one attachment member when engaged with the upper part of the circumference of a circular ring or flange a forming the other attachment member. As shown, the ring members a are secured to the sides of the mirror with the centres e located on the line passing through the centre of gravity of the mirror. When the mirror is angularly adjusted it rotates about this axis through the centres e by the engagement between the members b or c and the edges of the rings a. A slot f, Fig. 2, may be provided for the mirror to be readily dismantled from its supports.
