Abstract

311,111. Hansen, O. May 21, 1928. Rail and vertical bar fencing. -The pales 5 are formed with a central angular groove 6 and lateral semi-circular grooves 7. The grooves terminate below the top 8 of the pales. The rails 1 are made from a strip of metal rolled or pressed to form a central channel 4 and flanges 3. The upper flange is formed with a downwardly bent edge 3a to assist in throwing off rain water.
