Abstract

310,567. Cormack, J. G. Oct. 1, 1928. Vehicle carrying another vehicle or machine and deriving propelling power therefrom.-A rail trolly 10 is fitted with two pairs of axles 14, 22, 23, 15, on which are mounted wide friction wheels 16, 18, 19, 17. A road vehicle 21 is pushed up a sliding inclined track 25 until the driving wheels 20 rest upon one pair of friction wheels. The track 25 is normally carried by the trolly as shown. The rail wheels 11, 12 are mounted on the axles 14, 15 which are geared to the other axles by chains.
