Abstract

319,868. Walkden, R. July 25, 1928 Stoppers secured by bayonet joints. - The upper end of the body portion of a tin, bottle, or similar container is encircled externally by a sinuous groove comprising a. number of sinuosities 3 formed at their upper parts with open slots 5 so that notches 4 projecting inwardly from the flange of the lid or cover 1 can be engaged with the groove, the cover then being given a partial rotation to draw it down into close engagement with the container.
