Spectacles.-The sides of spectacles are constructed in two parts so as to be longitudinally adjustable. In one of the parts a there are formed notches c at intervals which on sliding engage stops e formed on the other part b. The stops e are made by forming recesses d on the outside of the part b or by cutting resilient tongues in the same. The part b may be celluloid lined with metal.
