Abstract
301,100. Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., and Twiss, D. F. July 25, 1927. Emulsions, making.-Rubber, balata, &c., or other organic material such as rubber reclaim in the form of a dispersion which may be natural or artificial, concentrated or vulcanized, or may contain vulcanizing Ingredients and fillers, are treated by adding acetic acid, or other acid substance in excess of the quantity required for coagulation, the product being a stable dispersion the particles of which are positively charged.
