Abstract

306,645. Gandell, W. R. K. Dec. 14, 1927. Label holders.-A holder A for an automobile license or the like comprises a thin sheet of metal or other non- porous material, preferably circular in shape, larger than the license, the margin around the edge of the license being wholly or partly coated with adhesive B which is of a lastingly sticky nature to secure detachably the holder upon a windscreen or other member, and to enable it to be re-attached without the use of additional adhesive or heat. The sheet may be recessed to bring the back of the holder flush with the back of the license, or may be wholly covered or around the margin only with textile or other non-soluble substance. Holes may be provided in the holder to permit air to escape. The back of the license may be attached to the holder by coating a central portion D of the holder with adhesive, and a thumb piece may be provided to facilitate detachment of the holder.
