Coating; coating non-metallic surfaces with metal.-In spraying molten metal as described in connection with Fig. 4 of the parent Specification, the receptacle 22 for powdered metal is traversed by a pipe 4, provided with hole 4<a> through which a small quantity of air passes into the vessel 22, while the greater portion of the air passes through an ejector nozzle 3<b> to draw the powder into the main stream and carry it through a pipe 24 to the atomizing nozzle 13. A valve 3 is provided to regulate the air supply.
