298,159. Musag Ges. f³r den Bau von M³llund Schlacken-Verwertungsanlagen Akt.-Ges., and Grote, A. Oct. 4, 1927, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Bituminous compositions. - Paving and like blocks are made by moulding, under heat and pressure a mixture of hard sintered refuse-slag and bituminous material. The slag is in grains of sizes up to 6 mm. These grains are sifted out to sizes of 0-2, 2-4 and 4-6 mm. and are mixed in such proportions that voids are reduced to a minimum. The aggregate is then heated to about 180‹ C., hot bituminous material is incorporated therewith, and the composition is moulded into blocks at a pressure of from 200 to 300 kilograms per sq. cm.
