Abstract

297,571. Hunt, R. Sept. 19, 1927. Fittings, internal. - A collapsable holder for a thermionic valve &c. for use in a collapsable box or carton comprises a hollow rectangular part. 3 with each side extended at one longitudinal edge thereof the extensions 4 being adapted to enter the separate corners of the box and hold the part 3 in or about the centre of the erected box. As shown the holder is formed of a one-piece blank scored and folded to produce the part 3 and doubled extensions 4, the immediately adjacent faces of the extensions being secured together. Tongues 7 may be cut in the sides of the rectangular part 3 to accommodate the bulb of a valve &c. The holder may be used in a box having countersunk ends such as is described in Specification 209,618.
