Abstract

296,857. Brooke, A. July 15, 1927. Bodies. - Beading, edging, or cornice moulding, or drip moulding is made in two parts, a nailing strip such as b, Fig. 1 and a covering strip a, the strips being connected together longitudinally and the strips after nailing being pressed into contact either with the aid of heat, or of cold vulcanization. The contacting surfaces may be coated with an adhesive and the coated surfaces protected by a strip f. Fig. 1 shows one of various forms of mouldings described the two strips being hinged together by a fabric covering. The strips may be separate strips which after nailing are pressed into contact as before. Specifications 250,131 and 252,584, [both in Class 141, Wearing-apparel], are referred to.
