295,960. Johnston, J. T. M. May 20, 1927. Surface treatment with liquids. -Apparatus for spreading sand, chippings, &c. on roads &c. is attached to a wagon body 10 mounted on front road rollers 11 and rear wheels or roller 13 and provided with roller - moistening apparatus. Water is supplied from a tank 39 through drippipes 40, 41, felt-lined plates 42 being provided in contact with the rollers and wheels.
