Abstract
270,203. Rutherford, J., and Rutherford & Co., Ltd., J. Jan. 6, 1927. Roll holders.-A carton 2 for holding a roll of toilet paper has dished plates 9 mounted in orifices in its ends, the plates having circular projections 10 on their inner faces engaging the roll 3 of paper and central holes 11 adapted to receive the arms 8 &c. of the usual roll-holder. By these means the toilet roll can be mounted in the holder without removing it from the carton one of the side walls of which has a slot &c. by which the end of the paper passes outside the carton; a hole 6 may be provided to facilitate grasping the end of the paper and one edge of the outlet slot may be arranged to form a tearing edge.
