Horns, multiple arrangements of. - Relates to sound-reproducing machines of the kind having two or more sound-boxes which are actuated successively by the same record at such intervals of time as to produce 'an improvement in the tone of the sounds reproduced, each sound-box being associated with a separate sound-passage. According to the invention, all the passages are of different shape or length and of different materials. Two examples are shown. In that shown in Fig. 1. one tone-arm a leads to an ordinary horn c; the other tone-arm b leads to a horn d having an angular or bent portion e which modifies the transmitted sounds. Fig. 3 shows another form in which the horn d' is longer than the horn c<1> and differs in shape.
