Reels.-A reel for electrical conductors of small diameter made of strawboard or similar light and inexpensive material comprises a hub B and disc-like sides formed with two or more straight portions on the periphery to prevent accidental rolling. An annulus C of paper may be used as a packing between the outer face of the end and the turned-over edge of the tubular hub. One or more holes D are provided so that the inner end of the wire may be led through. The end faces may be hexagonal or octagonal.
