Abstract

269,795. Croad, A. K., (Carolyn Laundry). Oct. 11, 1926. Securing.-A tag, adapted for use in laundries for identifying garments &c., is formed of a strip of flat spring metal bent to form jaws 1, 2, each jaw having projections 4 to force portions of the laundry piece into apertures 5 in the other jaw. A lateral extension on the jaw 2 is slotted to fit a ribbed key 12. A modified construction comprises a flat tag formed with a central slotted key aperture, the tag being attached to the garment by struck-up prongs, or by sewing through small thread-holes at the corners of the tag.
