Abstract
267,689. M³ller, G. W. Feb. 20, 1926. Spray carburettors. - A carburettor 9 is supplied with air under pressure through a pipe 8 from a cylinder cooling jacket 4 which is fed by a fan 3 driven by the engine. The carburettor is either arranged inside the jacket 4 or provided with a pipe 10 which transmits the pressure in the feed pipe 8 to the float chamber. The valve 7, controlling the exit 6 of the jacket, may be connected to a centrifugal governor. When the carburettor is arranged inside the casing 4, damage from back-firing is prevented.
