Abstract

266,630. Daniel, D. J. Oct. 8, 1920. Percussive drils. - Dust is collected at the drill point by means of a cup 6 which fits over the drill shank by a bearing ring 8. A pipe 9 leading from the cup is connected to an injector 11 operated from the pressure fluid supply 23 and drawing water from a vessel 18 to moisten the dust, which is then deposited in a separate receptacle 14. A number of separate pipes 9 may be led to a single injector.
