Abstract

266,110. Penman, A. N., and Norwest Electrical Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Jan. 27, 1926. Switches, without quick action.-In switches having fusible members incorporated with the movable members of the switch, fuse carriers 18 of insulating material are provided through which pass the fuse wires 23 secured at their ends to contacts 22 co-operating with fixed contacts 12. The carriers 18 are mounted in tubular carriers 15 formed in a rotary shaft 13 by pins 20 on the holders which after being inserted through slots 16 are held in recesses 17 by springs 21 interposed between the carriers 15 and shoulders 19 formed on the members 18. The spindle is operated to the contact position by a handle 14 exterior to the casing 11.
