To avoid the wear and loosing of the first holder caused by the frequent crash between the stopping sleeve and the first holder, the first holder is arranged to be studded in the handle, the first holder do not project from the head portion of the handle. The limit recess is arranged to keep the stopping sleeve at the totally stretched out position and not to get out of the tool bar, the stopping sleeve projecting a certain distance from the tool bit when the stopping sleeve is in the totally stretched out position (see Fig.7).
is Referring to Fig.3 to Fig.5, the stopping sleeve has a cylindrical configuration, and comprises a shell defining the shape, inside the shell arranges a through bore having a loose fit with the tool bar, a limit block cooperating with the limit recess, a second holder interacted with the first holder and a projecting part interacted with the screw head. The projecting part close to the tool bit is arranged coaxially with the tool bar, the second holder is disposed proximate the handle, the limit block has a undirectional limit, the tail portion of the limit block cooperates with the helical compression spring.
The shell comprises two same half shells arranged up and down, the half shell comprises a first pit for receiving the limit block and the spring, and a second pit for receiving the second holder. The first pit comprises a narrow Ti portion and a wide portion, a stair formed by the narrow portion and the wide portion defines the depth of the insertion of the limit block into the limit recess.
Referring to Fig.6 and Fig.9, the half shell is provided with a projecting claw hook, a non-circular bore for receiving the claw hook is arranged to the radially symmetric position of the claw hook, the non-circular bore comprises a first vertical portion parallel to the body of the claw hook, a second vertical portion parallel to and staggered with the first vertical io portion, a horizontal portion vertical to the first and second vertical portion, the hook portion of the claw hook hooks the horizontal portion. The width of first vertical portion is greater than the width of the claw hook so as to avoid the sticking caused by the distortion when the claw hook inserting into the first vertical portion, a certain distance is arranged between the is side wall of the second vertical portion and the claw hook so as to easily make mold and disassemble the claw hook, inserting the tool into the second vertical portion to push the hook portion of the claw hook out of the horizontal portion, such that the fastening function of the claw hook is released, so the easy assembling is achieved.
Fig.7 is a drawing of the screwdriver, wherein the stopping sleeve is at the totally stretched out position, and one half shell is hidden. The stopping sleeve is kept at the totally stretched out position and do not get out of the tool bar, even the stopping sleeve is exerted a force directing from the handle to the tool bit, which is caused by the undirctional limit of the limit block, the stopping sleeve projects a certain distance from the tool bit when the stopping sleeve is at the totally stretched out position. 8)
The undirectional limit is achieved by the cooperation between the limit block and the limit recess. Specifically, referring to Fig.1 1, the limit block comprises a stopping surface vertical to the tool bar and close to the tool bit, a communicated surface vertical to the tool bar and close to the handle, a tilted surface connecting the communicated surface and the stopping surface; the tilted surface directs towards the handle, the tilted surface is arranged to be arc surface so as to increase the reliability of the sliding, the limit block presses the tool bar under the elastic force all along from the io helical compression spring. Referring to Fig.10, the limit recess comprises a wall vertical to the tool bar, the wall cooperates with the stopping surface of the limit block, a slope cooperating with the tilted surface is arranged proximate the root portion of the handle to the limit recess.
is Referring to Fig.12, when the limit block slides above the limit recess along the tool bar, the limit block slides quickly into the limit recess due to the elastic force produced by the helical compression spring located at the tail portion of the limit block. Due to the limit effect of the stair of the first pit, the depth of the insertion of the limit block into the limit recess is the depth zo of the insertion of the tilted surface of the limit block into the limit recess. The stopping sleeve continues driving the limit block sliding till the stopping surface of the limit block touches the wall of the limit recess, the stopping sleeve is limited in the limit recess not to continue sliding to the tool bit, even the stopping sleeve is exerted a force directing from the handle to the zs tool bit. When a force directing from the tool bit to the handle is exerted to the stopping sleeve, which drives the limit block sliding towards the handle, when the arc surface of the limit block touches the slope located at the root 9) of the limit recess, both two slide with respect to each other, the limit block is forced to overcome the elastic force to move radially outwardly, the arc surface of the limit block moves to the tool bar with the help of the slope of the limit recess (see Fig.13), the stopping sleeve continues sliding towards the handle till the stopping sleeve touches the handle (see Fig.8), because the first holder is magnetic, of which the pole surface is vertical to the tool bar, and the second holder is a member with magnetic conductibility, the first and second holder make the stopping sleeve stay at the totally retracted position through the effect of the magnetic field. Obviously, there are another some manners to produce a magnetic field between the first and second holder, such as that the second holder is arranged to be magnetic, of which the pole surface is vertical or slant to the tool bar and the first holder is arranged to be a member with magnetic conductibility, such arrangement can also keep the stopping sleeve stay at the totally is retracted position; such as that the second holder is arranged to be magnetic, of which the pole surface is parallel to the tool bar, that is the pole surface faces the tool bar, which is a member with magnetic conductibility, such arrangement produces a magnetic field between the second holder and the tool bar, such that the stopping sleeve can stop at any position on the tool bar, including the totally retracted position.
Fig.14 to Fig.19 show the application of the screwdriver.
Inserting the tool bit into the mounting hole to unscrew the screw, the screw is attached to the tool bit and moves outwardly together with the tool bit, the stopping sleeve slides towards the tool bit and touches the external side of the mounting hole and the projecting part of the stopping sleeve inserts into the mounting hole before the tool bit moves out of the mounting hole, keeping moving the tool bit outwardly, the tool bar slides with respect to the stopping sleeve, while the stopping sleeve is motionless at the external side of the mounting hole, when the limit recess slides to the limit block, that is the stopping sleeve is at the totally stretched out position, the stopping sleeve projects a certain distance from the tool bit at the position where the stooping sleeve is at totally stretched out position, so the screw is separated from the tool bit and is kept to stay in the mounting hole by the projecting part of the stopping sleeve, taking the screwdriver away to finish the screw assembling, in order to make the next assembling easy, returning the stopping sleeve to the handle, that is the stopping sleeve is at the totally retracted position.
