Abstract

252,642. Evans, W. E., (Geiger'sche Fabrik, Ges.). Jan. 16, 1926. Rotary strainers.-Liquid to be strained is supplied through a pipe 21 to a fixed channel 4, situated centrally within a rotating strainer drum 1, and passes through holes 14 into the drum through which it flows into a receptacle 11 provided with an overflow 22. The solid matter is lifted by sieve blades 3, falls into a channel 5 eccentric to the channel 4. and is removed therefrom by a screw conveyer 15. Cleansing water is supplied by perforated pipes 29.
