Abstract

252,288. Wasdell, E. C. May 6, 1925. Mud - guards. - A bracket for securing cycle mud-guards to the crown of the fork or for securing a number plate to the mud-guard blade is attached rigidly to the mud-guard blade a by means of two ears d<2> which pass through corresponding slots in the blade a and are pressed against the inner surface of the blade. For securing to the fork crown, the bracket d, Fig. 3, is provided with an apertured lug d<4>. The bracket for securing a number plate e is provided with two parallel lugs f between which the number plate is bolted intervening rubber washers being provided. Fig. 7 shows another form of bracket d which is bent up from a metal blank.
