Abstract

A telescopic trolley, that uses a telescopic mechanism to extend the height of the sides of the trolley, comprises 360-degree wheels, a handbrake which can lock all the wheels, a light-weight plastic base and telescopic poles. Slots around the rim allow the wheels to slot for stacking multiple trolleys on top of each other for more efficient transport. The trolley further comprises handles for ease of control. The telescopic poles can lock in any position, and they stay in position unless pushed down on.

Description

Invention-TrolleyScopic, a trolley with a telescopic function.
This invention relates to a device for transporting goods in any logistical industry and situation.
When transporting parcels/products in large amounts, this lighter, safer and easy to store invention will change how businesses transport products and improve efficiency. The product is able to move 360 degrees with a handbrake and is able to stack one on top of another due to the shape and specifications of the product. Furthermore the telescopic function allows the height of the product to raise and self lock at any height, because of this the product is easy to load and unload, also ensures that the only way to close the product can be safe and efficient for all user.
However, the use of conventional yorks have a number of difficulties and safety issues when being handled in the work environment. The current unit is unstable, heavy to function and not practical for transporting becoming quicker and a fast paced logistics environment, where speed is key. Furthermore the product is difficult to load and unload, to store in high quantity and is not efficient when building each product. To overcome these problems, the present invention proposes a new unit that can hold the same weight, easy to store, move 360 degrees with ease of handles and a lock. Can flatten in a few seconds and rise just as quick, through a simple telescopic mechanism and has the ability to stack one on top of another due to the design presented. This also has a pre-fitted bag within the unit that is strong and light-weight, all of these features allow quicker processing and transporting for logistical ease.
The telescopic mechanism allows the product to quickly and efficiently function and allows the product to flat pack and rise, through a strong structure connected from all sides of the product, this may be through titanium, metal or plastic materials.
The 360 degree wheels allow ease of movement and ensures the user can lock the product, this is through the handbrake fitted to lock all wheels.
The positioning of the slots around the rim of the invention allows each wheel of another unit to stack and slot perfectly, the wheels are positioned to allow stacking. This ensures ease of storage and transport.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with references to the accompanying drawings in that: Figure 1 shows the unit standing tall, the telescopic poles are extended and locked into place. Also the handles can be seen on either side with the handbrake, this is because of the shape of the telescopic function and allows efficiency for transporting, furthermore the base ad wheels that are used.
Figure 2 shows the unit and the telescopic poles closed, this alternative view also indicates also indicates how this this function works, when the product is in this position the products can be stacked onto each other. For ease of transport and allows more product to be used.
Figure 3 shows the telescopic pole and how this functions through a handle.
Figure 4 shows the bottom of the base, indicating the wheels and and the brake system with foot pedal.
Figure 5 shows the telescopic pole and how this function is able work effectively.
Figure 6 shows the top of the unit, the rim and the slots for the wheels to fit into when the product is being stacked, also this indicates the handles for transporting.
In figure 1, a base either round or with sides holds the main structure of the trolley. This base is made of a plastic or lightweight metal to ensure a strong product, under this base has a set of wheels. These wheels are pivoting on a 360 degree hinge, these wheels may be flat or round. The wheels are also connected to a foot pedal, this acts as the brake and the function that can unlock the product to allow free movement. The foot pedal will run across the bottom of the base and will be accessible on either side of the trolley.
The base of the product in figure 1 is the main structure holding the telescopic poles in place. As seen in figure 1 under the base holds a set of clips, these clips can stretch over the products stacked and add extra protection to the main structure of the stacking feature. These will be made of polypropylene or elastic type material. These clips seen in figure 4 can be placed and stored under each product, the base has a shape cut out from the bottom to ensure the clips and the strap can wrap around and safely be stored within the base. This ensures no ground-engagement when moving the product and that the product can be used freely with ease.
The telescopic poles are structured around the main base as seen in figure 1. The telescopic poles are shaped lmm thinner in diameter than another, ensuring the telescopic effect. These poles are fitted to either side of the base and allow ease of transporting products safely and effectively. The telescopic poles can reach any desired height and can free stand due to the requirements.
As seen in figure 1 the poles will be made from a plastic or metal like structure, the poles stay at the height required until pressed down from the top, this allows the telescopic poles to close in on each other and stay at any height until fully closed. These telescopic poles are bolted into the main base and cannot be removed, these are also placed to ensure sturdiness to the base. The product is then able to move with the height of the poles not effecting the wheel movement. The telescopic poles include a structure round each pole connected and bolted onto each of the telescopic poles, as seen in figure 1 this not only provides a handle to function the trolley but also includes a slot feature as seen in figure 6 these slots are placed directly over the wheels of each product, to allow the wheels to slot into place when closed. This allows the product to stack and transported in large quantity.
Figure 1 also indicates a handle placed across the length and width of the base, these handles provide sturdiness to the product and also ensures ease of movement, furthermore the handles add to the overall structure of the trolley and the shape of the product. This also allows more protection to transporting products and the shape to keep products in the trolley. The handles will be fitted into the telescopic poles as seen in figure 3, this ensures overall structure and also is able to allow the telescopic poles to open and close easier and keeps the overall shape. These handles are connected to the telescopic poles and move with the telescopic movement. These will also be made of metal or plastic, the same as the telescopic poles.
Figure 2 indicates the handle that wraps around the structure, this is able to hold the bag in place, this also moves with the telescopic function and is made from the same material to hold the lightweight bag in place for the trolley to move with products.
