Abstract
The securing clamp and support device includes a two part unit. The top part 1 of the device is shaped like a fork and is threaded. The bottom part 2 has a threaded hole for attaching to the top part 1. The device attaches to a pan handle 4 and provides a support for the handle 3 of a spatula etc. It is not necessary for the top part 1 to have a fork shape - only that it has an upstanding member to receive the spatula handle.
Description
241 1 689 SECURING CLAMP & SUPPORT
Description
This invention relates to a securing clamp & support device that has two parts to it (Top & Bottom), the top part is shaped like a three pronged fork, the bottom part is rounded with a hole in the middle, both parts are threaded to join them together,( it can be done with or without the outside arms, also various other shapes).
The problem it solves is, it eradicates where to put your spatula or fishslice while frying.
This invention relates to a securing clamp & support device to stop a Spatula or fishslice from falling out of a frying pan or pots, also from touching the side walls of a frying pan.
The both parts of the securing clamp & support device is made from a Heat resistant plastic.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fieure 1 Shows the securing clamp & support device from a front view with the Top part 1 & Bottom part 2 attached.
Fieure 2 Shows the securing clamp & support device from a birds eye view with a Spatula or fishslice 3 sitting on the top part 1 of the device.
Figure 3 Shows the securing clamp & support device from a side view with the Top part 1 & Bottom part 2 attached to a frying pan handle 4 also with a Spatula or fishslice 3 sitting safely on the Top part 1 of the device.
Figure 4 Shows a front view of the Bottom part 2 of the securing clamp & support device.
Figure 5 Shows a top view of the bottom part 2 of the securing clamp & support device.
Claims (6)
- SECURING CLAMP & SUPPORT Claims 1. The securing clamp & support deviceincludes a two part unit which attaches together by threads on each unit.
- 2. The securing means: This one is shaped like a three pronged fork which the bottom part of the fork shape has threads, (It can also be done without the outside arms, also various other shapes).
- 3. The attachment means: is a rounded piece which there is a round threaded hole in the middle so it can be attached to the top part of the securing clamp & support device.
- 4. The attachment means is a clamp.
- 5. The two parts of the securing clamp & support device is made from a heat resistant plastic.
- 6. A securing clamp & support device substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings. <, 3Amendments to the claims have been filed as followsSECURING CLAMP AND SUPPORT DEVICEClaims 1 This invention will be used for holding and keeping any Spatula with a hole at the end, (safely) in any frying pan with a hole at the end of the handle. The securing clamp and support device, including a frying pan and Spatula: This device is a two part unit (Top & Bottom), the Top part of the two units is shaped like a three pronged fork the lower part of the fork is threaded, the Bottom part of the two units is rounded with a threaded hole in the middle for securing the both units together. Fitting the securing clamp and support device to a frying pan handle. You put the Top fork threaded part of the two units through the hole at the end of your frying pan handle, the Bottom part of the two units with the threaded hole in the middle attaches from underneath the frying pan handle to the fork threaded part of the Top unit which holds the securing clamp and support device safely to the frying pan handle. The Spatula also has a hole at the end of it that is why the Spatula sits safely in the frying pan while sitting safely on the middle prong of the fork shaped part of the securing clamp and support device. The securing clamp and support device is used for eradicating where to put your Spatula while cooking with a frying pan. The securing clamp and support device is made from a heat resistant plastic. The securing clamp and support device can be made with alternative shapes as mentioned in 4 & 5 claims. The securing clamp and support device can be quickly and easily attached to Or detached from the hole in the frying pan handle.(For easy cleaning).2 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim] in which the attachment means is shaped like a three pronged fork in which the lower part of the unit is threaded.3 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim I in which the securing means is a rounded unit with a threaded hole in the middle for securing claims 2&3 to the hole at the end of the frying pan handle.4 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim 1 Alternative shapes. The Top part of the unit can be made without the two outer arms it can be made in the shape of a football shirt with a single prong at the neck of the shirt with a threaded lower part to the unit.A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim I Alternative shapes. The Bottom part of the unit can be square, oblong, rectangular or in the shape of a pair of football shorts as long as there is a threaded hole in the middle of the unit.6 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim 1 is a safety device for keeping a spatula in a frying pan (safely) while sitting on the middle prong of the top part of the device fitted to the handle of said frying pan.7 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim I the two units mentioned in claim I is made from a heat resistant plastic.8 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim I is a safety device to be used for eradicating where to put the spatula when cooking with a frying pan.9 A securing clamp and support device as claimed in claim I can be quickly and easily attached to Or detached from the frying pan handle. (Por easy cleaning).
