Abstract

The mobile phone greetings card has a battery powered sound chip 6 which is activated when the card is opened. The sound leaves from a small hole 3 at the top of the card and can be heard when it is a few metres from the ear, but better if it is placed closer to the ear. The sound amplitude is less than that for standard talking cards to reduce user embarrassment when the card is opened. The card is folded along fold line 7 to close it, and is retained closed by hook and loop fasteners 4,8. It is intended that the voice is recognisable as that of a celebrity.

Celebrity Talking Phone Greeting Cards A unique variation to standard talking greeting cards. An individual opens a Beacon enclosed card, shaped in the design of a mobile phone, to listen to a greeting left by a famous celebrity or character.
The most important concept here is the design of the card (as a mobile phone) and the idea that a celebrity has called and left a message on that phone: A voicemail special occasion greeting.
It is unique from standard talking phones through three main features: it's mobile phone design, the idea that a celebrity has called that phone and left a message and it's level of volume (see claims).
All voices by impressionists.
The Drawings The card is made from card and is designed in the shape of a mobile phone. Within the card is a sound chip. This operates when an individual opens the velco part of the card. ! The phone has many standard features you find ogre a mobile phone: numbers, digits, star k4.. . etc On the green section of the phone a message "one missed call" is stated.
Under this the name of the caller is written.
On the back of the phone card there is a white rectangle where an individual can write their greeting message. In the middle of this white rectangle the message such as happy birthday", "merry Christmas". .. etc will be stated.

Claims (1)

  1. The Claims The products major claim is that it produces a celebrity sound-
    a-like voice when opened. Its design, shape and volume of sowed is unique to any other greeting card in the UK market.
    The amplitude of the volume generated is less than standard talking cards. This is because the phone card is specifically designed to be help up to the ear. The volume is also specifically designed to be less in order it not be such an embarrassment when opening one of the talking phone cards in a shop. (As is often the case when opening a standard talking greeting card).
