Abstract

A device that is used for removing corks from wine bottles, jars or similar without requiring a corkscrew, a lid remover or similar. Inserted at the same time as the cork is placed into the bottle neck, its straps 1 positioned between the neck of the bottle 5 and the cork 3, it is attached to an '0' ring 2 to provide extra leverage which runs underneath the cork between it and the contents of the bottle. A portion of the device remains outside the bottle or jar to act as a handle or pull strap that can be pulled to easily remove the cork from the wine bottle jar or similar. Horizontal straps 7, 8 may also be provided, or a sleeve like strap (9, fig 6) may be provided.
