Abstract

The mobile underwater platform, from a wider point of view, belongs to the area of hydro-electro-energetics. By means of the device (1) for converting kinetic energy of rivers, sea or oceanic currents, the mobile underwater platform turns the kinetic energy of water flows into electrical energy. The mobile underwater platform is set on a certain depth below the water surface. Due to positive buoyancy of the platform, the forces of water thrust with the course that is opposite to the course of gravity, anchoring the platform over the depth-regulatory cables (7) and anchors (9), the whole platform will float in a stable way on a certain depth below the water surface. By rotating the axis (17) of the gearing middle electro-engine (16) and by rotating the axes (14) gearing lateral electro-engines (13) the position of the device (1) for converting the energy of the fluid flux can be changed in horizontal and vertical plane at the angle of 360°, by which it is possible to exploit kinetic energy of water flows regardless of the change in course or direction. By rotating the axis (19) of the depth-regulatory electro-engines (18) and coiling or uncoiling depth-regulatory cables (7), the regulation of the platform depth can be accomplished, which allows following the depth changes of water flux flow.
