Abstract

A flip chart pad which has a coating of sticky material 3 enabling sheets to be removed from a holder and displayed around a room without the need for gripper rods or additional holding materials. Preferably the pad has a plurality of sheets of paper with a writing surface 2 secured at their upper edge region 1 between facing surfaces of a mounting member. The pad may have line of perforations 4 enabling the sheets to be folded or torn off to reveal the sheet below.

Description
This invention relates to a self adhesive flip chart pad.
Flip chart pads are of particular use during training courses, lectures or meetings, where a person can draw or write on a sheet of the flip chart pad to highlight or further explain points. Once the diagram or explanation is no longer required the sheet is folded over or torn off to reveal a clean sheet below.
A problem arises when the completed paper needs to be displayed around the room. Current methods generally use gripper bars pre attached to the wall (unsightly and can be cost prohibitive) or the use of bluetack, which is stuck to the back of the paper to secure it to a surface around the room (this although reasonably effective is not the ideal solution to this issue).
This invention seeks to provide an improved flip chart pad which overcomes the above-mentioned disadvantages.
The broadest aspect of this invention relates to a flip-chart pad having a plurality of tear of sheets of paper which are secured at their upper edge region. Each sheet has a coating of sticking material (similar to a post it note) that enables sheets to be removed from the holder and displayed around the room without the need for the bluetack or gripper rods. This provides a more convenient, quicker and less fiddly solution to current methods and also provides a method that does not mark/stain wall coverings.
The invention will now be described solely by the means of the accompanying drawing (see page 4) in which: -Figure 1 -shows the flip chart header where a plurality of sheets are bound together at the upper most edge and have Iwo holes.for use when securing to the flip chart holder.
Figure 2 -shows the main body of the flip chart where diagrams or text may be applied.
Figure 3-shows the section of flip chart that is self adhesive.
Figure 4-shows perforations that aid removal of separate sheets.
