Abstract

A Bluetooth earpiece, which allows the answering of a phone call without having to hold or press any buttons on the mobile phone, also includes a data storage unit (10 fig. 1) for saving information that has been automatically transmitted from an external mobile telephone or PC device. For example, contacts / phone book entries, text messages, pictures, notes and appointments from the mobile phone may be automatically backed up to the earpiece, as long as it is within Bluetooth signal range. The device may be able to store information from more than one mobile phone. A person may access the data stored on the earpiece, using an LCD screen 20 and buttons 17, 18, 19 for menu navigation, and select to transfer all the personal data or selected data, to a new mobile phone or PC via wireless Bluetooth. A USB port 23 is also provided for connection to a USB enable device.

Description

DESCRIPTION
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[00011 The concept of the invention relates to a Bluetooth earpiece (14) of FIG 2 that allows a user to access a telephone call without having to pick up the mobile phone by hand, it also allows a user to automatically back up person data stored on the mobile phone. This process is done automatically as long as the phone is within the Bluetooth range.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The mobile device emits Bluetooth radio airwaves (1) of FIG I, which is picked up by the receiver (2) of FIG I Bluetooth earpiece device. This form of wireless communication is what allows telephone calls to answered by the earpiece without the need for any cables or wires.
[0003] The headset or earpiece is to be clipped on and worn on any ear.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
[0004] A user of a mobile telecommunications device often face problems of loosing their hands sets, it may be stolen or they have purchased a new mobile phone. But this still leaves the problem of having to replace all the information previously stored on the mobile phone in question. To overcome this problem, the Bluetooth earpiece device is an improvement on current devices available on the market because it acts as a data back up device.
[0005] The Bluetooth earpiece solves the problem of having to carry your mobile in your hand or having to carry it on your waist whilst a wired hands free kit is attached, but what makes this device unique from the other Bluetooth headsets already available on the market today is the fact that it has an in built data storage device (10) of FIG 1 that saves personal information, the device can store information from more than one mobile phone, which can then later be transferred to another device.
[0006] The claimed invention provides a Bluetooth mobile headset in which the internal components comprises of a receiver or a wireless communication module that allows the transmitting and receiving of wireless signals, a processor that processes the signal received. The processor is connected to receiver/wireless communication module and is responsible for controlling the operation of the Bluetooth device. The device also incorporates a microphone which is responsible for inputting audio signals and a speaker for outputting audio signals to a separate device. The speaker is connected to the emitter which is responsible for processing a second processed signal to a second loudspeaker means, which typically is arranged to be placed in close vicinity to the Bluetooth earpiece device. The second load speaker means would be the speaker that is incorporated into the module of the external mobile phone device. The data storage component in the Bluetooth earpiece is responsible for saving and storing all the informationldata that has been automatically transmitted from the external mobile phone or PC device.
[0007] The external components of the claimed invention has an outer casing that protects the internal components of the device, a USB port to allow connection to a USB enabled device, an ear clip that hold the device in place on to the ear, a speaker that plugs into the ear of the user which allows the user to hear the outcome of the voice signals that are being transmitted from the external mobile phone device. The Bluetooth device also has an LCD display that allows the user to view the various on screen options that enables the navigation of the device; a menu button that allows access to navigational options of the earpiece device, an up and down button that allows the user to scroll through and select the options that the current device permits. Lastly the device also has a select button that allows the selection of an option, and call answer button which allows the user to answer a telephone call without having to manually pick up the mobile phone device.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0008] FIG I is a diagram of the internal component and operations of the current proposed Bluetooth earpiece invention [0009] FIG 2 is the external front view of the Bluetooth earpiccc device [0010] FIG 3 is the external bottom view of the Bluetooth earpiece device. It also shows where the USB wire comiects to the USB port of the Bluetooth earpiece device.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0011] FIG 1 shows a schematic block diagram of the internal component and operations of the current proposed Bluetooth earpiece invention. The internal components comprises of a receiver or a wireless communication module (2) that allows the transmitting and receiving of wireless signals (1), a processor (4) that processes the signal (3) received.
The processor is connected to receiver/wireless communication module and is responsible for controlling the operation of the Bluetooth device. The device also incorporates a microphone (6) which is responsible for inputting audio signals (5) and a speaker for outputting audio signals (11) to a separate device. The speaker is connected to the emitter (8) which is responsible for processing a second processed signal (7) to a second loudspeaker means (13), which typically is arranged to be placed in close vicinity to the Bluetooth earpiece device. The second load speaker means would be the speaker that is incorporated into the module of the external mobile phone device (12). The data storage component (10) in the Bluetooth earpiece is responsible for saving and storing all the information/data (9) that has been automatically transmitted from the external mobile phone or PC device.
[0012] FIG 2 shows external front view of the Bluetooth earpiece device. It shows an outer casing (14) that protects the internal components of the device, a USB port (23 & 24) to allow connection to a USB enabled device, an ear clip (15) that hold the device in place on to the ear, a speaker (16) that plugs into the ear of the user which allows the user to hear the outcome of the voice signals that are being transmitted from the external mobile phone device. The Bluetooth device also has an LCD display (20) that allows the user to view the various on screen options that enables the navigation of the device; a menu button (19) that allows access to navigational options of the earpiece device, an up (18) and down (17) button that allows the user to scroll through and select the options that the current device permits. Lastly the device also has a select button (21) that allows the selection of an option, and call answer button (22) which allows the user to answer a telephone call without having to manually pick up the mobile phone device.
[0013] FIG 3 shows the external bottom view of the Bluetooth earpiece device. It also shows where the USB wire (24) connects to the USB port (23) of the Bluetooth earpiece device.
