Abstract
Liquid silicone filled comfort pads for spectacles are attached directly to the frames of the spectacles and of sufficient thickness or depth to allow moulding to the nose for a close fit. The pads may be fitted by the optician using separate adhesive. A preferred embodiment would be that the section where the pouches would be attached to the glasses would have a double thickness on the outer layer, to withstand the adhesive used.

S I
EYE NOSE COMFORT
A swnple idea, which will give so much comfort to any one who cannot wear contact lenses or chooses not to wear them, but at the same time finds the discomfort of wearing glasses, either painful at times, iriiiating, causing unsightly mark on the nose, sun glass wearers will also benefit with this invention.
My invention is to make nose pads out of liquid silicone filled pouches, which would mould to the nose, whatever the shape; our noses grow continuously through life, therefore the position of the eye pads will need to be altered over time, or due to an accident When the person still needs to wear their glasses but would nonnally find it too painful to do so, the nose may change due to sinus infections again making conventional eye pads on glasses uncomfortable., There are two possibilities with this invention, one would be to attach the pouches to the glasses frames by an optician, who would need the equipment to be able to do this on the premises, after the frames are chosen, and would also be able to attach them for people who might just call in to have a more comfortable fit The other version would be a stick on type, bought on the high streetin packs of 2 cr4, and actually stick on your self to your existing pads, although I feel this may look too bulky, as you would then have 2 pads betwccn your glasses and your nose. The second idea may be a cheaper way to do this, but I feel opticians would benefit greatly from this comfort maker, as it would reduce customers having problems, due to the discomfort factors of pressure sores on their noses, or having to fiddle about with the hard pads, until they snap off or change the focus on vary -focals or bi-focals. z Cms
